  1. My union anticipated this ruling and amped up membership pushes. Also, all current union members were asked to re-sign union agreements and cards in May. I am sure other unions did the same.

    My friend who works for AFSCME and is a prison guard said that within seconds of the ruling, the state sent him an email in his state email about the Janus ruling and how the union lied to its members. They told everyone how much money they’ll save and even provided a link to drop out of the union. This seems a bit of a conflict of interest. The union can’t email you at work but apparently management can email you about the union?

    There was nothing in my work email, but we are decidedly a union town, even when we are not.
